An End of You

CALL TO PRAYER
Repeat and or meditate on this verse until your thoughts are centered on God.

God's steadfast throne, from changes free,
shall stand for ever fast.
His boundless sway no end shall see,
but time itself outlast.
 —Psalm 145:13
Suggested tune: Marlow (CM)

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY
When the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of any works of righteousness that we had done, but according to his mercy, through the water of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit.
—Titus 3:4-5

FOOD FOR THOUGHT
There must be an end of you and there must be a beginning of Christ in you. God grant that this may happen at once and may you immediately believe in the Lord Jesus!
—Charles Spurgeon

TODAY'S PRAYER
My heart is an inn, O God, and I an innkeeper. Grant that I may open my heart to your Son, that he might not just sojourn there, but that he might make it his own...

YOUR OWN PRAYERS
Allow the above to help guide your own confession, praise, thanksgiving, and/or petition.

THE LORD'S PRAYER
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil; for thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen.
 —Matthew 6:9-13
