He Will Abundantly Pardon

CALL TO PRAYER
Repeat and or meditate on this verse until your thoughts are centered on God.
Better is a righteous pittance
than a treasure falsely gained.
Crooked schemes will soon unravel,
but the Lord the just sustains.
 —Psalm 37:16-17
SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY
Let the wicked forsake their way, and the unrighteous their thoughts; let them return to the Lord, that he may have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
—Isaiah 55:7
FOOD FOR THOUGHT
As long as you and your sins are at peace, God and your soul must be at war! Until you are ready to be divorced from sin you can never be married to Christ. God will give salvation and the pardon of sin, and give them freely to the very worst of sinners, but sinners must first confess and forsake their sin!
—Charles Spurgeon (sermon February 13, 1876)
TODAY'S PRAYER
O Lord, forgive what I have been, sanctify what I am, and order what I shall be...

YOUR OWN PRAYERS
Allow the above to help guide your own confession, praise, thanksgiving, and/or petition.

THE LORD'S PRAYER
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil; for thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen.
 —Matthew 6:9-13
